The Band of the King's Division - Cardiff

The Band of the King's Division performed in Cardiff Bay o Thursday 23rd August in support to Lord Dannatt's Round Britain Sailing Challenge, that was in Cardiff for the day. The Challenge is run by The Jubilee Sailing Trust and was commemorating the centenary of the end of World War One by inviting Cadets and Verterans to sail the Lord nelson Tall Ship around the United Kingdom.

The Band, joined by three musicians from The Band of the Royal Corps of Signals then performed a short concert outside The Pierhead Building, where they played David of the White Rock, Malagueña and Happy. After this the band formed up and then marched out in front of the Wales Millennium Center and onto the Roald Dahl Plass in a parede with the crew of TCS Lord Nelson, consisting of cadets and veterans were then inspected by dignitaries. During the ceremony the band performed Amazing Grace and marched off to The Bond of Friendship.
