Army Wales Festival of Music 2019

On Saturday May the 4th, the Band of the Prince of Wales's Division, The Band and Bugles of the Rifles and The Regimental Band and Corps of Drums of the Royal Welsh joined forces to perform around Cardiff Bay for the 2019 Army in Wales Festival of Music.

 

To start the afternoon's events The Band of the Prince of Wales Division combined with members of Pembrokshire and Gwent music

Services to perform a concert on the steps of the Senedd parliament building.

After this, both the Bands and Bugles of the Rifles and Royal Welsh performed concerts around the bay. The Red Devils Parachute Display Team also gave a water jump display as well as The Llandovery Malev voice Choir combining with The Regimental Band of the Royal Welsh to sing some traditional welsh songs.

To end the day, each band performed a marching display on the Roald Dahl Plass before joining together for a massed bands finale of the 1812 overture, complete with live 105mm gun fire from the 104 Regiment Royal Artillery.
